Lasdon's Plant Auction in Somers to Benefit Projects at the Park

Perennials, shrubs, trees, flowers, vegetables, gifts for gardeners and more will be up forbidding at a plant auction on Sunday, June 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial in Somers. 

The event is being held in celebration of National Garden Club Week. In addition to making their choices from the vast array of items that will be on the bidding tables for both silent and live auctions, visitors can meet representatives of local garden clubs, who will sell plants and baked goods, discuss their clubs’ activities and welcome new member signups.           

The Shop at Lasdon, a fully stocked garden shop, will be open, with its selection of garden related gifts, houseplants, planters, botanical art and more. Snacks and beverages will also be on sale in the shop.           

Proceeds will benefit projects at the park including the Conservatory Project and the Westchester County Veterans Museum. Admission and parking are free; the event will be held rain or shine.

Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial is located on Route 35 in Somers.
