1. Somers' Lee Goldberg to Walk for Food Allergy Awareness
WABC-TV weatherman Lee Goldberg, father of a food allergic child, is the honorary chairman of the third annual Walk for Food Allergy, taking place on Saturday in New Rochelle.Goldberg, along with hundreds of people from around the area will be walking around Glen Island Park in New Rochelle on Oct. 13 to raise funds to increase awareness of food allergies. 2. Former Fire Chief Announced Second Run for Commissioner
Former Yorktown Fire Chief Martin McGannon has announced his second run for fire commissioner. On Dec. 11 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Yorktown residents will have the opportunity to cast their vote for fire commissioner. Story about his announcement coming up later today.

3. Costco Protest on Friday
A group of people who are identifying themselves as "Yorktown residents, friends and neighbors" and are opposed to Costco will hold a rally today from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the suggested Costco site on Route 202. More about their protest coming up this morning.
