Macy's Employee Arrested for Stealing $180 from Store

Yorktown police charged a 37-year-old Mahopac woman with petty larceny.

A 37-year-old Mahopac woman has been arrested for stealing money from a Macy's cash register, Yorktown police said. 

The woman, who was working as a Macy's employee, was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. Police said she stole $180 from a cash register between April 7 and April 10. The woman arrested on April 25, police said. 

She was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. She was released without bail and was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on May 28.
