Man Drives With Revoked License, Without Breathalyzer: Police

Police said the man's license was revoked because of a DWI-related defense.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown Heights man was accused of driving with a revoked license after an auto accident.

The Yorktown Police Department said Patrick Hartnett, 41, of Yorktown Heights, was arrested Monday and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device, misdemeanors.

Police said, around 8:15 a.m. Monday, an officer was sent to the St. Patrick’s Church parking lot on Moseman Road for a property damage auto accident.

An investigation found that Hartnett was driving while his driver’s license was revoked for a DWI-related offense and without an ignition interlock device.

He was arrested and processed on the scene.

Hartnett was issued two uniform traffic tickets at the scene and released on his own recognizance.

He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Nov. 9.
