Man Tries To Steal Suitcases From Macy's: PD
A store employee attempted to stop him, and the man left the store without the baggage.

YORKTOWN, NY — A 62-year-old Yorktown resident was accused of trying to steal suitcases from Macy's.
The Yorktown Police Department said Redouane Tazi, 62, of Yorktown, was charged Friday with felony third-degree attempted robbery.
Police said, around 1:30 p.m. Friday, officers were sent to Macy's for a reported robbery.

An investigation found Tazi was seen on closed-circuit television leaving the store with two suitcases for which he hadn't paid.
A store employee approached him and tried to stop him, but Tazi pulled away from him and left the store leaving the suitcases behind.

Officers said they found the man outside his home a short time later.
Tazi was arrested and taken to police headquarters. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.
He is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court May 24.
