A Mohegan Lake woman is due in court on Tuesday to answer a driving while ability impaired charge, New York State Police said.  Kristina Melcete, 28, was arrested on March 21 following a one-car property damage car accident on the Taconic State Parkway in Putnam Valley, police said. The woman was charged with DWAI and released on tickets. Melcete was scheduled to appear in the Town of Putnam Valley Court on April 2.
