Mount Kisco Man Accused Of Drunken Driving In Yorktown
Police initially stopped the man's car for following another vehicle too closely and not staying in its lane.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Mount Kisco man was accused of drunken driving in Yorktown.
The Yorktown Police Department said Klever Guartatanga-Leon, 40, of Mount Kisco, was charged June 15 with aggravated driving while intoxicated BAC 0.18 percent of more and driving while intoxicated-first offense, misdemeanors, and following too closely and fail to maintain lane, traffic infractions.
Police said, shortly before midnight Tuesday, officers on patrol on Route 202 when they said they saw a car following too closely to another car and not staying in its lane.

A traffic stop identified Guartatanga-Leon as the driver, and he was intoxicated, police said.
He was arrested and taken to police headquarters where he found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent of more.

After processing, Guartatanga-Leon was issued traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance to a responsible adult.
He is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court June 28.
