Order of Protection Violated at Lakeland High School, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana

Temporary Order of Protection Violated at Lakeland High School
A 44-year-old Shrub Oak man faces criminal charges after he allegedly made contact with a Sultana Drive resident while at in violation of a temporary order of protection, police said.
Joseph P. Saline was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.

Police said the defendant allegedly went to the high school on May 16, but left the scene prior to being contacted by police. The next day, the man voluntarily appeared at police headquarters where he was arrested.
Saline was served with temporary order of protection and released on his own recognizance. He was scheduled appear in court on June 12.

Unlawful Possession of Marijuana
A 19-year-old Carmel man is accused of being in possession of marijuana, a violation. Police investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at the Yorktown commuter parking lot at on May 5 at about 1:30 p.m.
Investigation revealed the teen was allegedly in possession of marijuana. He was arrested, and released on his own recognizance. The defendant was scheduled to appear in court on June 14.
Unlicensed Operation, Possession of Marijuana
A 26-year-old Mahopac man faces several charges that he allegedly operated a vehicle without a license and was found in possession of marijuana, police said.
David B. Reit was stopped on May 2 on Rt. 6 near Old Farm Lane during a routine traffic stop. Police revealed his driver’s license was allegedly suspended on numerous dates. He wad charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation and operating with one tail light, a traffic infraction.
Reit was released on $250 cash bail and was scheduled to appear in court on June 5.
