Ossining Man Drives With Suspended License, Registration
Police said the man was also wanted by an active warrant from the New York State Police.
YORKTOWN, NY — An Ossining man was accused driving without valid car registration after his license plate was flagged because of an active warrant.
The Yorktown Police Department said Edgar Collaguazo, 31, of Ossining, was arrested Sept. 18 and charged with operating with a suspended registration and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanors.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m. Sept. 18, police were notified by the license plate reading system that a vehicle owned by someone with an active warrant with the New York State Police had passed the area of Route 6 and the Taconic State Parkway.

The vehicle was located, police said, in the area of the Jefferson Valley Mall and a traffic stop was initiated.
Collaguazo was identified as the driver, and police said it was determined he was driving while the vehicle’s registration and his driving privilege were suspended.

He was arrested and processed at the scene.
Collaguazo was issued traffic tickets and turned over to the state police for the warrant.
He is set to answer the charges in the Yorktown Justice Court Oct. 5.
