Person Ejected in Crash on Taconic State Parkway

YORKTOWN, NY – A person was ejected from a vehicle in a crash on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown Tuesday night, authorities said.

The Yorktown Heights Fire Department said it was responding to the scene "along with multiple units" in a post on its Facebook page at 9:18 p.m.

The crash occurred in the northbound lanes near the approach of the New Croton Reservoir Bridge, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

The right shoulder is blocked as of 10 p.m. and traffic is backed up for several miles.
