Even though summer has unofficially come to end, the Yorktown and Somers area provides photographers with great opportunities to capture its beauty.
When local photographer Lina Bastone submitted a picture that was taken at the Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown, we published it last week here.
This week's photo was also taken by Bastone. It captures the walk path bridge right off Route 129. It's a distant view of Route 100 and the beautiful trees, she said.
"I love capturing anything that catches my eyes, no matter where I go," Bastone told Patch.
