Despite the rain on Wednesday, the five-day carnival and fundraising effort for the Yorktown Heights Fire Department kicked off immediately following the firemen's parade.
The carnival runs through Sunday, June 30. On Thursday and Friday, the gates will be open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
