Police: 16-year-old Hacked Into Yorktown Schools Computers to Delete Student Schedules
Police a Yorktown teen and charge him with computer trespassing and computer tampering.

Police have arrested a 16-year-old Yorktown teen and charged him with third-degree computer tampering and computer trespass, both felonies.
The case began on June 24 when police Officer Dillon was assigned to investigate computer trespass complaints from the Yorktown Central School District.
Following an investigation by Officer Nadoraski, the school resource officer at Yorktown High School, and Detective Perrotto, police said they discovered the teen had accessed the Yorktown Central School District computer system and deleted the 2010-2011 student schedules.

The defendant was arrested on July 6 and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
He was released on $500 bail and is due in court on August 5 at 6 p.m.
