A 17-year-old Peekskill teen is accused of stealing merchandise from Sears earlier this month, Yorktown police said.  The teen, whose name police did not release due to her youthful offender status, was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.  Police said the female allegedly stole $488.93 worth of merchandise from store displays and exited the store without paying for the items. The defendant was  released on $100 cash bail and scheduled to appear in on June 5.
