A 42-year-old Yonkers woman is accused of stealing three purses from a department store in Yorktown, said.  Madeline Lucre was arrested on May 16 at about 7 p.m. when police responded to  after security personnel reported a shoplifter in custody. The defendant was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.  Investigation revealed Lucre allegedly exited the store without paying for three purses valued at $774.  The woman was released on $1,500 bail and was scheduled to appear in court on May 22.
