Road Rage With Butcher Knife Leads To Misdemeanor Charges: Police
Police said a Yorktown man brandished a butcher's knife in front of a man and his child.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of brandishing a butcher’s knife in front of a man and his child and threatening to kill the man in a road rage incident.
The Yorktown Police Department said Dennis Flynn, 57, of Yorktown, was charged Wednesday with two counts of second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors.
Police said, shortly before 5:30 p.m. Saturday, an officer was sent to Route 202 and Stony Street for a dispute between two motorists.

The investigation found that Flynn displayed a large butcher’s knife in front of the victim and his child, and he threatened to kill the victim.
Flynn left the scene prior to police getting there, authorities said.

He was located around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and placed under arrest.
Flynn was taken to police headquarters for processing, after which he was released on his own recognizance.
Police said he is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Dec. 6.
