2. Lakeland Budget Hearing Tonight

The Board of Education will hold the 2013-2014 public budget hearing on Tuesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. in the Lakeland Administration Building, 1086 East Main Street, Shrub Oak. The public will be able to comment on the budget at the public hearing.

3. Mother's Day Plant Sale
The Garden Club of Yorktown Annual Mother's Day Plant Sale is Saturday, May 11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of Suburban Wines at 379 Downing Drive in Yorktown Heights. Profits will help to beautify Yorktown.
4. Yorktown Community Day, Taste of Yorktown
The 24th annual Yorktown Community Day is scheduled for Saturday June 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jack DeVito Memorial Field. The day will also feature The Taste of Yorktown, which will showcase local merchants, organizations, and community group achievements. Registration forms are currently being accepted.
