Somers To Hold Independence Day Fireworks Celebration
Activities include live bands, a basketball tournament, hot dog eating contest and a giant slide — as well as food trucks.
SOMERS, NY — The town of Somers will hold its Independence Day Fireworks Celebration Saturday, June 25.
The celebration is being put together in partnership with the Somers Lions Club, Somers Chamber of Commerce and Sons of Somers.
It will be held at Reis Park, 82 Primrose St. beginning at 4 p.m. until the fireworks.

The rain date will be Sunday, June 26.

For eats, there will be Famous Lions BBQ, the Reis Park Concession Stand, Chef Rob Food Truck and Sinapi's Italian Ice Truck.
Organizers said there is limited parking at Reis Park. There will be a shuttle bus between Somers High School and Reis Park beginning at 4:30 p.m.
