Somers To Hold Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony
The events were organized by the Somers Volunteer Fire Department and Somers Historical Society.
SOMERS, NY — The town of Somers will be marking Memorial Day in 2022 with a parade and commemoration ceremony, organized by the Somers Volunteer Fire Department and Somers Historical Society.
The parade and ceremony will be held Monday, May 30.
Organizers said the parade will assemble at 9 a.m. in the Somers Middle School parking lot.

At 9:30 a.m. the parade will step off and will be followed by the ceremony in Somers Veterans Memorial Ivandell Cemetery, which is on Route 202 in the Somers Hamlet National Register District.
