
A 19-year-old Baldwin Place man is facing a felony charge for taking a wallet from a gas station customer in Yorktown, police said.
Police said Winaudy Estrella, an employee at the Chestnut Shell gas station on Commerce Street, stole a wallet which was accidentally left in the store by the customer. The wallet contained a credit card, police said.
Estrella was arrested on May 28, processed at police headquarters and later released without bail. He was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on June 11.
