Somers PD Holds Prescription Take Back Day Event

SOMERS, NY — If you have old or unused prescription drugs lying around, you can get rid of them Saturday in Somers.

The Somers Police Department will be the collection site for Prescription Drug Take Back Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

You can turn in your unused or expired medication and it will be safely disposed of, but sharps will not be accepted.

The Somers Police Department is located at 100 Primrose St. (Route 139).

The event is being presented by Somers Partners in Prevention.
