Somers, Yorktown To Mark Sept. 11 With Ceremonies

YORKTOWN-SOMERS, NY — There will be many memorial services around the Hudson Valley honoring those lost in the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
In Somers, the Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Bailey Park in Somers (intersection of Routes 100 and 202). The event is organized by the Somers Historical Society.
In Yorktown, there will be a ceremony at 4 p.m. Monday at the John c. Hart Memorial Library, 1130 East Main St. in Shrub Oak.

Westchester County’s September 11th Memorial Ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. RSVP is encouraged.
