South Salem Man Accused Of Road Rage In Yorktown
Police said the man punched the hood of a woman's car.
YORKTOWN, NY — A northern Westchester resident was accused of damaging someone's car in a road rage incident.
The Yorktown Police Department said Nicholas Giardina, 51, of South Salem, was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony.
Police said a report was received around 4:45 p.m. Monday from a woman who said she was the victim of a road rage incident.

She told police the other driver got out of his car and punched the hood of her car, causing two dents in the hood.
After an investigation, Giardina was identified as the person who damaged the woman's car.

He voluntarily showed up at the Yorktown Police Department at 5 p.m. Tuesday and was arrested.
After being processed, Giardina was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court April 14.
