St. Patrick's School eighth grade girls varsity volleyball team won first place in the Westchester Catholic School League, held on Saturday. This was the culmunation of a fantastic volleyball season, with the girls team closing out the season with an undefeated 25-0 record, winning the final Championship game against Our Lady of Perpetual Help from Pelham Manor. The team includes Caelyn McGowan, Sarah Skelton, Cynthia Schmidt, Kayla Kabfell, Caeligh Lampersberger, Carli Clement, Laurunce Rosenthal, Teresa DeVino, Marlana Kitsakos and their coach Maribeth Powers. __ Thanks to Rosemarie Schmidt for the submission.
