Teatown officials and partnering agencies celebrated on Wednesday the official opening of The Croft – a 59-acre open space parcel in Teatown Lake Reservation. Read more about it later today on Patch.

On Saturday, June 16 at 3:30 p.m., the Yorktown American Legion Post #1009 and the Yorktown Fire Department will conduct a U.S Flag Retirement Ceremony on the carnival grounds behind the Yorktown Fire Station located on Commerce Street. All local Scouts and the public is invited to join them for the educational ceremony. to read more.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures for Friday are expected to reach 77. The sunshine will continue into Saturday, with the high temperatures near 79. Sunday is also expected to be another beautiful, warm and sunny day.
