'The Skeleton Crew' Exhibit, Parade to Benefit Guiding Eyes, 'Traces' at the Winery

1. The Skeleton Crew
Visit the Yorktown Museum's Halloween exhibit "The Skeleton Crew." There are more than 40 everyday phrases depicted and illustarted with the dry bones. The Museum is located at 1974 Commerce Street.

3. Dog Parade to Benefit Guiding Eyes

The first annual dog parade benefitting teh Heeling uatism program at Yorktown's Guiding Eyes for the Blind will be held on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. in Buchanan. Donation is $10 a dog and all proceeds will go to the Heeling Autism program, which trains dogs to become a service animal for a child with Autism. Click here to read more.
4. Kindergarten Open House
The Somers Central School District is having a kindergarten open house on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.
5. "Traces" at the Winery
The Winery at St. George is the venue of a rarely seen collection of Ukranian and Russian art for a limited one-week showing. The exhibition, titled "Traces," opened on Saturday and it will be on display until Oct. 5.
