Three teens, who are students at the Phoenix Academy in Yorktown, were arrested last week for punching a wall and break three chairs at the facility, police said.
One teen – a 16-year-old Bronx resident – was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony. The other two boys – ages 14 and 15 – were charged with juvenile delinquency because of their age.
Police said the boys caused $450 worth of damages at the facility on Oct. 16 at around 11:10 a.m.
The 16-year-old boy was remanded to the Westchester County Jail on $2,500 bail. He was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Oct. 17. The other two teens were released to the Phoenix Academy staff. They were scheduled to appear at the Department of Probation on Oct. 25.
