Three Yorktown Teens Arrested for Throwing Eggs at Vehicle

Three Yorktown teens are facing criminal charges for throwing eggs at a passing car, police said.
A motorist, who was traveling on Old Crompond Road, reported to police that his car was struck by eggs. That startled him and caused him to nearly have an accident, according to a police report.
The three teens were located and arrested for throwing eggs, police said. The incident occurred on March 16 at about 1:12 a.m.

The teens, ages 17, 18 and 18, were charged with reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor. Police did not release their names because of their eligibility for youthful offender status.
They were released to their parents and were scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on April 18.
