Tour Yorktown's Historic Homes for Relay for Life
The event is taking place on Sunday, May 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The third annual Yorktown's Historic House Tour, co-chaired by Mary Anne Ruvo and Gina Miller, that will benefit Yorktown's Relay for Life, is taking place on Sunday, May 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will begin at Hilltop Hanover Farm in Yorktown Heights.
"This committee is amazing and has done a phenomenal job of turning their passion for history into a way to fight cancer," said Monica Garrigan, a Yorktown resident and senior director of special events for the American Cancer Society. "They don't just pick houses. They research and re-create their stories in an effort to connect all of us."

Visitors will step into homes that once belonged to tenant farmers of the Van Cortlandt family. The six additional historic homes include the following: Travis/White /Hallock House (c. 1766), Ebenezer White Homestead, the home of a physician during the Revolution (c. 1730), Hearth House (c. 1700’s), The Forge, colonial blacksmith (c. 1750’s), Golden Hill Farm House (c. 1820), and “Tenant” Farmhouse of the White Family (c. 1850).
