Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Superlative leadership during a time of crisis.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?
Matt and I don't always agree on much of anything, but his exemplary leadership during this pandemic has been nothing short of monumental. His care and concern for residents of this town has far surpassed all expectations. His guidance has exceeded that of nearly all others including our county executive and even our governor. He is wholeheartedly dedicated to his constituents and protects them without pandering or promoting himself. It is this sort of governing that will keep Yorktown safe and secure while we emerge from this crisis.
Thank you for all that you do, Matt Slater!
