Woman Caught Driving With Suspended License: Yorktown PD
Police said her car was neither insured nor registered.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown woman was accused of driving without a license after being pulled over for speeding.
The Yorktown Police Department said Lindsey Calicchia, 23, of Yorktown, was charged Thursday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a vehicle while registration suspended, misdemeanors, and uninsured vehicle and speed not reasonable or prudent, traffic infractions.
Police said, around 8:20 p.m. Thursday, an officer on patrol on Route 202 said he saw a car going faster than was reasonable for the weather and road conditions.

Calicchia was driving and officers found that her license and registration were both suspended, police said.
The vehicle was also uninsured, according to authorities.

She was arrested and processed at the scene, police said.
Calicchia was issued traffic tickets and released on her own recognizance to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court April 19.
