Yorktown Area Organization Offers Book Club for Women With Cancer

(Yorktown Heights, NY) Support Connection, Inc. announces the next session of their Book Club for women with cancer. It will take place on Thursday, June 16, from 7-9 pm at Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Comprehensive Cancer Center at New York Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital, 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567. At this Book Club session we will discuss Clara Parkes’ The Yarn Whisperer: My Unexpected Life in Knitting, a collection of captivating, poignant, and laugh-out-loud funny essays. Join us as we explore an entertaining, well-knit tale of metaphors stitched between yarn and life.
