Yorktown Boy, 13, Punches Fellow Student in Groin
He was scheduled to appear before the Department of Probation for counseling, Yorktown police said.

A 13-year-old Yorktown boy has been charged with juvenile delinquency for punching a fellow student in the groin, Yorktown police said.
The teen, whose name police did not release, is scheduled to appear before the Department of Probation for counseling. Had he been an adult, the underlying charge would have been third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
The assault took place around noon on April 11 at St. Patrick's Elementary School in Yorktown. Officer Kathryn McGuire and Det. Sean Lewis were assigned to investigate the case after the victim, a Katonah teen, reported the incident.

Investigation revealed the Yorktown boy had punched the Katonah male in the groin and caused him pain.
The Yorktown teen walked into police headquarters with his parents on April 19. He was scheduled to appear before the Department of Probation on May 2 at 9:30 a.m. for counseling.
