Yorktown Cops: Mahopac Man Faces Felony Charge for Driving with 31 License Suspensions

A 21-year-old Mahopac man is facing a felony charge, along with numerous traffic infractions, for driving his vehicle despite 31 driver' license suspensions, Yorktown police said.
Dennis Norby's vehicle was stopped on Aug. 25 at around 6:50 p.m. for not wearing a seat belt and other equipment violations, police said. A routine Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) check revealed he had 31 current license suspensions.
He was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony; as well as multiple other traffic violations.
Norby was placed under arrest and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. He was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 27.
