Yorktown Cops: Spa Employee Charged with Prostitution

A female spa employee was charged with prostitution after she offered an undercover cop to perform a sexual act in exchange for money, Yorktown police said.

In addition, she and another woman are facing felony charges for practicing without a license at "Pro-Happiness Spa," located in the Brookside Plaza at 345 Kear Street in Yorktown.

Yorktown police said they suspected possible prostitution and an officer in plain clothes went into the establishment on April 5 to conduct an investigation.

While he was there, police said the two women Xiang Dun Zhang, 28, and Lianhua Sun, 36, accepted money to perform a massage. The women, both Flushing residents, were not licensed to be masseuses, police said.

Additionally, Zhang offered to perform a sexual act in exchange for money, police said.  Zhang was charged with prostitution and practicing a profession without a license, both felonies.

Sun was charged with practicing a profession without a license, a felony. 

Both women were brought to police headquarters and processed. They were each held on $2,500 cash bail and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on April 9 at 6 p.m.
