Yorktown Employee Arrested for Making Terroristic Threat

Police said a 43-year-old Mohegan Lake man other employees at the Northern Westchester Rehabilitation Services that he was "going out with a bang."

A Mohegan Lake man is facing a felony charge for making a terroristic threat to fellow Yorktown employees, police said. 

Ernest Hongach, 43, told other employees at the Northern Westchester Rehabilitation Services that he was "going out with a bang," police said in a statement. 

Hongach was charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony.

Police located the man at his home on May 7 after he had made those statements on May 6. He was taken to police headquarters for processing and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in iieu of $4,000 cash bail.

Hongach was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on May 14.
