Yorktown Man Accused Of Driving With Suspended License
Police said an officer was sent initially to check out a report of disorderly conduct.

YORKTOWN, NY — A report of disorderly conduct at a Yorktown business led to an accusation of driving without a license.
The Yorktown Police Department said Raymond Piper, 42, of Yorktown, was charged Monday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, a misdemeanor, and numerous other traffic infractions.
Police said, around 5:40 p.m. Monday, an officer was sent to check out a report of disorderly conduct at a business.

The investigation found Piper had left the scene, and a description of his vehicle was given.
After a traffic stop, the officer identified Piper and discovered that his privilege to drive was suspended in the state.

Piper was issued uniform traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court July 21.
