Yorktown Man Accused Of Pushing, Injuring Someone
The incident occurred in May and an arrest was made in July.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown resident was accused of pushing and injuring someone during a domestic incident.
The Yorktown Police Department said Michael J. Chapins, 56, of Yorktown, was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment, a violation.
Police said, shortly before 1 p.m. May 25, officers were sent to a Yorktown home to investigate a report of a domestic incident.

After an investigation, it was determined Chapins pushed the victim into a door which cause bruising to the person's arm.
A criminal summons was applied for and granted by the Yorktown Justice Court.

Around 9 a.m. Sunday, Chapins responded to the Yorktown Police Headquarters and was served with the criminal summons.
He was released on his own recognizance to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court July 19.
