Yorktown Man Punches Victim In The Head, Neck: Police

A temporary order of protection was issued by a judge on behalf of the victim.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown resident was accused of punching someone in the head and neck.

The Yorktown Police Department said Kendell Llewellyn, 46, of Yorktown, was charged March 20 with third-degree attempted assault, a misdemeanor.

Police said, shortly after 6 p.m. March 20, officers were sent to check out a domestic incident report.

Officers met with Llewellyn and the victim and began an investigation.

Police said Llewellyn punched the victim in the head and neck with a closed fist several times.

He was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.

Llewellyn was arraigned by a judge who issued a temporary order of protection on behalf of the victim.

He was released on his own recognizance to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court April 27.
