Yorktown Police: Man, 64, Places Nails Under Vehicle's Tire
Police said the man had thrown several nails under the tire of a woman's 2003 Chrysler minivan in an attempt to puncture the tire.

A 64-year-old Mahopac man is facing criminal charges in Yorktown after he attempted to puncture the tires of a woman's vehicle, Yorktown police said.
William M. DeGuisto was charged with fourth-degree attempted criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
Police began an investigation on April 29 when a Strang Boulevard woman reported to police that the man had thrown several nails under the tire of her 2003 Chrysler minivan. Police said the man attempted to puncture the tire.

DeGuisto was served with a temporary order of protection and then released. He was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on May 9.
