Yorktown Police Warn of Vehicle Break-Ins

YORKTOWN, NY — The Yorktown Police Department said it received reports Monday of vehicles being rummaged through.

The incidents were overnight Sunday in the Fox Meadow Area of the town, they said.

“We ask that if anyone has any information and/or security camera footage of any suspicious activity from this area to please email us at info@yorktownpd.org,” police said.

Whether residents park on the street or in driveways, police said, to remember to keep the vehicle doors locked and to not store any valuables inside.
