Yorktown Receiver of Taxes Extends Office Hours

School taxes for 2012-13 are being collected and Yorktown residents must pay their school tax bill in full by Oct. 1 to avoid penalties. 

The town's receiver of taxes has expanded its office hours on Thursday, Sept. 27 and Friday, Sept. 28. The office, located in Town Hall on Underhill Avenue, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents have until Monday, Oct. 1 to pay their taxes without penalties.
