Yorktown Resident Arrested for Counterfeit $100 Bill at Porter House

Stephen Palazzo, 22, of Yorktown Heights, was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree, a felony.

A Yorktown Heights resident was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree, a felony, on Sunday in White Plains. 

Stephen Palazzo, 22, of Yorktown Heights, was arrested at approximately 1:51 a.m. for allegedly trying to pay his tab at Porter House, on Mamaroneck Avenue, with a fake $100 bill.

According to police reports, the bill had no watermark or bar code, and the color and material was inconsistent with a real bill. During the arrest, White Plains police allegedly discovered seven more identical bills in his right front pocket.

Palazzo was held for court after his arrest.
