Yorktown, Somers Scheduled Meetings For Week Of May 8
Both the Yorktown and Somers planning boards will be holding public sessions.
YORKTOWN, NY — Here’s a look ahead at public meetings scheduled for the week of May 8.
In Yorktown, there will be a Planning Board regular session at 7 p.m. Monday, May 8.
The agenda, which can be viewed here, includes decision statements on the proposed demolition of two buildings so a showroom/warehouse and storage building can be constructed at 1750 East Main St. and on the IBM battery energy storage at 1101 Kitchawan Rd. Also on the agenda is a discussion of the Underhill Farm mixed-use development at 370 Underhill Ave.

The meeting will be in the Town Hall Board Room and on Optimum channel 20 and FiOS channel 33.
The Yorktown Town Board will hold a work session at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 9.

In Somers, the Planning Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 10.
The agenda, which can be viewed here, includes site plan approval for parking lot expansion at 378 Route 202, an application for modifications to an existing wireless telecommunications facility, including replacing existing antennas at 2580 Route 202 and a zoning petition for rezoning 259 Route 100.
The Somers Town Board will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 11.
