Cops Ride Slip N' Slide At North Carolina Block Party: 'My Butt Is Wet' (VIDEO)

Officers responding to a noise complaint decided to take the time to cool off when they found that the Slip N' Slide was just fine.

ASHEVILLE, NC — Two police officers in North Carolina responding to a noise complaint at a block party Sunday where kids were playing decided to join in on the summer fun when they found that the noise was fine.

Officers Joe Jones and Carrie Lee enjoyed going down the Slip n' Slide set up for a Fourth of July block party.

According to a report by Fox Charlotte, some neighbors were upset and called 911 saying the road had been blocked off by the Slip n' Slide. The slide was put in place for the 20 or so kids that live in the four blocks.

Police addressed the neighbors' concerns and discussed the importance of safety before getting in on the fun.

“The Slip ‘N Slide they noticed was so far off the street that cars and emergency vehicles could still pass through so it was perfectly fine and they decided to join in on the fun. There were no citations issued,” public information officer Christina Hallingse told ABC News.

Asheville police shared the videos of the officers cooling off on Facebook.

"My butt is wet," officer Jones is heard saying as he goes down the slide.

"But don't it feel good?" someone is heard asking in the background.

Lee went down the slide in a trash bag, effectively preventing herself from getting wet.
