It's Time for the Annual Army Family Action Plan

The conference is open to the public, though issues have already been sent forward earlier in the year from units and families at Fort Bragg.

Are you interested in hearing what the Fort Bragg community says needs to be improved here? Then come to the Fort Bragg's 2013 Army Family Action Plan Conference outbrief their prioritized issues to the command and the community on Thursday, September 19, 10 a.m. at the Fort Bragg Club. Everyone is invited to attend.

The Army's AFAP program was established in 1983, and provides a means for Army constituents to address and report issues of well-being concern to leadership at regular intervals.

"This is my fourth year being involved," said Beth Watson, a military spouse who recently moved here from Fort Lewis. "This program is where all the changes are initiated for the Army and its families. I'm a fan."

The AFAP program's process of improvement begins at the local level, where an annual symposium is held to examine issues of concern that delegates believe need to be fixed. Here at Fort Bragg ACS collects comments throughout the year from its customers.
