Police: Greenville man broke into ECU fraternity, stole sword and Jesus statue (wcti12.com) β A 20-year-old Greenville resident has been charged with felony second-degree burglary after police say he broke into an ECU-area fraternity house on West 5th Street and stole several items, including a ceremonial sword and a religious statue. Officers detained the suspect on East 8th Street shortly after midnight Monday, and his bond was set at $100,000 secured.

Mayor Connelly pushes for solution to crosswalk safety at busy Greenville spot (wcti12.com) β City leaders are weighing safety upgrades at the busy 10th Street and College Hill Drive crosswalk near ECU after a student was hit by a car.
