A big announcement was made at the Moorhead American Legion Post 21 by the Fargo Veterans Honor Guard and the FM Legion Riders on Saturday, February 5th. A plan to build a much-needed shelter and bathroom facility for the Fargo National Cemetery is being developed. The shelter will provide a place for family members to go and properly mourn their loved ones and will be a warm to gather in the colder months of the year.

Students involved with the NDSU architecture program will get to be a part of this project by making plans for the shelter and working with ICON architects here in Fargo. Many Veterans from the area were able to be under one roof on Saturday and show their support for this project as they know how much of a need this shelter is to the community.
