FARGO SANITARY LANDFILL CLOSED ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18
Due to high wind speeds, the landfill will not open

The Fargo Sanitary Landfill, located at 4501 7th Ave. N., will be closed today, Friday, Feb. 18, due to high wind speeds. Debris from trucks cannot be properly maintained during times of high winds and often blows away from the landfill. The landfill is expected to reopen on Saturday, Feb. 19.

Residential garbage collections will continue as scheduled. The Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be open and operating normal hours.
