1. Have you gotten your tickets for the Booster Bash? The event will take place on Saturday, March 4th at 7 p.m. at Tom's Country Place. Tickets are $60 or a table of 8 for $480. The night promises to be a lot of fun with live band, "Rock the House," a live auction and silent auction, food included, premium drink tickets at $3 and more. 3. The new year has brought about some changes at the Avon Senior Center including Meals on Wheels, which will no longer be offered through the Lorain County Office on Aging. The Neighborhood Alliance has taken over the home delivery service for Avon, Avon Lake, Sheffield and Sheffield Lake. In addition, with the change in the meal program, there will no longer be food collection at the Avon Senior Center. Instead, unexpired, unopened food items can be dropped off at the Blessing Boxes located behind the senior center, 36784 Detroit Road and the fire/police department, 36145 Detroit Road.
